I coach diving one night a week at the Whirlwind Diving Program. Whirlwind allows me to stay connected to the sport I love and grew up doing. I am from the area and have fond memories of competing in the Valles pool against divers from Whirlwind and other club teams. Whirlwind diving is the premier program in the area and displacing it would be a detriment to the sport in Connecticut. So many great divers are cultivated through the program and without it there will be many people who may miss the opportunity to get into the sport we love.
