My son spent his middle and high school years diving at Whirlwind. It started as a great alternative sport for a kid who was not drawn to football or lacrosse. It became a vital resource that helped him grow up, make lifelong friends, learn how to be a teammate, and learn self-discipline.

Diving helped him get into an elite college, and he continued diving throughout his four years.

Joe and Adam have built a nationally recognized program that provides opportunity for so many kids. There is no feasible substitute; every other program is at capacity or miles away and inaccessible on a regular basis.

Whirlwind is truly special, and to shut that down along with all the other programs that use the Valles pool is shortsighted and extremely sad. All of our kids need opportunities like Whirlwind.
